What If A Holiday Falls On My Pick Up Day?

Please read carefully for the holiday’s we are closed for. We are closed on the following days: New Year’s Day, Labor Day, July 4th, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. For example: if one of the following holiday’s fell on a Monday, Mondays would be pushed back to Tuesday, Tuesdays would be pushed back to Wednesday, Wednesdays would be pushed back to Thursday, Thursdays would be pushed back to Friday, Leaving Friday’s being picked up on Saturday. If the holiday falls after your pickup day, then there is no change on your pickup day. If you have any concerns or questions regarding holiday schedules, please reach out to the office staff. If you are unsure and are unable to reach out to us, we always keep updated holiday reminders and schedules through our website at www.trashawaysanitation.com

What If I Miss My Pickup Day?

f you missed your pickup day, please call the office so we can make sure the toters take care of the excess trash for you the following week that you may accumulate until the next scheduled pick-up day.

What Time Do They Pick Up?

Trash Away operates between the hours of 5am 5pm to prevent any possible missed pickups. Please put the trash out the night before your scheduled pick-up day. The time that our trucks go through can always change without notice.

What If My Can Was Missed?

Sometimes mistakes can happen as we train new toters and drivers on our routes. If your trash can was out the night before and you did not have anything in the can that we do not dump, please contact our office within 24 hours of your scheduled pickup day.

What Items Can Not Be Dumped?

Trash Away Sanitation only dumps household trash. Did you know that landfill’s do not allow the following: Construction debris/wood, any type of hazardous items, yard debris, chemicals, oil, paint, and propane tanks/helium tanks? Unfortunately, that causes us not to be able to dump those types of items. However, if you have any questions about disposing of these items, please reach out to the office staff.

Do You Offer Auto Pay?

Yes! We have the option to set up auto pay upon setting up the account, via website, or over the phone with office staff. If you are setting up auto pay or making changes via a website and it’s after the 1st, please make sure to process your payment as auto pay has already been processed and the system does not automatically update that to run until the next time you have a bill due. If you are past due and setting up auto pay via website, please make sure it’s paid before 12pm Est the business day prior to your scheduled pick up. Please reach out to the office with any questions about auto pay or if you are needing help setting up or changing your auto pay.

Do You Allow Extra Trash?

Yes! If you are needing extra dumped, please notify the office staff prior to your scheduled pickup day. The office staff needs to be made aware at least the business day prior to your pickup day. This includes extra cans, bags, and boxes. We ask for all boxes to be broken down and all extra or loose trash to be placed in bags beside the trash can to prevent any trash flying out the back of the truck and to help keep our community clean. Please reach out to the office staff if you have any questions regarding extra trash.
