As the holiday season approaches, it is essential to know how holiday schedules might affect your trash pick-up service. At Trash Away Sanitation, we prioritize both our customersโ needs and the well-being of our staff. Therefore, we have specific holidays when trash collection is temporarily halted to allow our team to spend quality time with their families. Understanding these changes will help you plan accordingly and ensure your trash is collected promptly.
Holidays Observed by Trash Away Sanitation
Trash Away Sanitation does not provide trash pickup service on the following holidays:
- New Yearโs Day
- Memorial Day
- July Fourth
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Each of these holidays is significant, and we believe in giving our staff time to enjoy these special days with their families. Here’s how these holidays might affect your trash pick up in your area:
Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving is a time for reflection and gratitude. At Trash Away, we are thankful for our customers who trust us to keep their homes and businesses clean. On Thanksgiving Day, we give our staff the day off to share their gratitude with their loved ones. If your regular trash pick-up day falls on Thanksgiving, your trash will be collected the following day. This means Thursdayโs pick-up will move to Friday, and Fridayโs pick-up will move to Saturday.
Christmas Day
The holiday season brings joy, family gatherings, and gift-giving. Trash Away does not collect trash on Christmas Day to ensure our employees can enjoy this festive time. This break allows our staff to spend quality time with their families. If your scheduled trash pick-up falls on Christmas Day, it will be pushed to the next day.
New Yearโs Day
New Yearโs Day is a time for celebration and setting new resolutions. Trash Away will not collect waste on New Yearโs Day, allowing our staff to celebrate with their families and start the new year. If your trash pick-up is scheduled for New Yearโs Day, it will be moved to the following day, with the regular schedule resuming the day after.
